Direct Locations is a booking agency for the rental of sailboats

But this is not an agency like the others.

It was created in 2000 by owners of yachts in Bandol, which came together to rent their boats using a modern, Internet. They were animated by a common desire:

  • no longer rely on professional intermediaries in order to reduce costs both for themselves and tenants
  • provide a standard of quality at most competitive prices

Today, that spirit still animates Direct Locations but its success has necessitated the existence of an independent agency of its members.

For a tenant, rent a boat to an individual owner has many advantages but also some constraints:

Owners Direct Locations members are professionals who expect the rental income from their boat by intensive exploitation. The lease usually has for them as the sole aim of covering all or part of an annual fee shipping, insurance and maintenance. Therefore, generally we limit the number of persons allowed on board the absolute number of berths and cabins, sleeping in the square is allowed only on a casual basis, limited to a maximum adult or child.

How do I rent a sailboat with Direct Locations ?

  1. Determine the boat that best suits your needs in terms of size, number of beds, port of departure and / or budget.
  2. Ask us about the availability of this boat and all those corresponding roughly to the same criteria by clicking in the table in the end price of the boat selected by filling in the application form available.
  3. From our response on boats available - or not present on our site - choose a boat and let us know as soon as you make your reservation by email.
  4. Within 4 days, please contact us by mail the booking form and CV Marine skipper duly completed and printed from our website, and a check in payment of the deposit - 30% if more than 3 months before departure, 50% between 3 and 1 month or 100% if less than a month before boarding.
  5. Upon receipt, we will give you all the details of the owner with whom you make contact, it is he who will be your contact, you send the lease, at maturity, you would pay directly to the deposit and the following balance of the rent and deposit, and you will agree with him of the appointment of embarkation.
  6. When you return, we would appreciate that you hear from your level of satisfaction on the state of the boat and the quality of your relationship with the owner.
